Merchant Portal
1. Introduction
When processing online transactions, it's important to keep track of your financial operations. Our Merchant Portal is an intuitive dashboard to manage your transactions.
2. Activate Merchant Portal
To activate the Merchant Portal, follow these steps:
- Navigate to your usual Paypage Back Office (Test/Production)
- Upon logging in, a new page will be prompted, walking you through the new Merchant Portal. Follow the instructions on the screen
- Our platform sends you a confirmation to your e-mail address, including instructions to create a new password and set up 2-factor authentication
3. Access Merchant Portal
Access the Merchant Portal via the login page. Depending on the environment you want to access, you have to open the respective URL:
If not yet done, you have to set up two-factor authentication. Once you have entered your correct password, follow the instructions on the subsequent screen. You need to install a two-factor-authenticator on your mobile device, which you will use to scan the QR-code on the login screen. Your mobile device will then provide you with the one-time code.
Depending on your choice, differences apply.
Authy
- Download the app from the app store
- Install the app by registering with your phone number and your e-mail address
- Follow the app instructions to create an Authy account: You receive a confirmation code in your e-mail inbox which you enter in the mobile device
- Scan the QR code on our login page
- You receive the one-time code.Enter it in the "One-time code" field on our login page
5'(optional). Enter a "Device name" for your mobile device you use for two-factor authentication
Google authenticator
- Download and install the app
- Scan the QR code on our login page to add your Merchant Portal account to the app
- Enter the one-time code from the app in the "One-time code" field on our login page
3'(optional). Enter a "Device name" for your mobile device you use for two-factor authentication
Microsoft authenticator
- Download and install the app
- Choose the option "Scan QR code" in the app
- Scan the QR code on our login page
- Enter the one-time code from the app in the "One-time code" field on our login page
4'(optional). Enter a "Device name" for your mobile device you use for two-factor authentication
4. Login/Password reset
If you or one of your colleagues have lost your/their password for the TEST/LIVE Merchant Portal, you can get a new one by yourself anytime, without being dependent on our support!
Reset lost or current password
To recover your lost password or change your current one, follow these steps:
- Go to either the Login TEST / Login LIVE. Click on "Forgot password?"
- Enter your e-mail address of your user profile and confirm
- Keep an eye on your e-mail inbox. Our system will send you an e-mail within a few moments. Click on the link in the e-mail leading to the Merchant Portal password reset page
- Set a new password and confirm it
- Go to the Login TEST/ Login LIVE. Enter the new password. Your existing two-factor authentication
Reset password for other users
If you manage multiple users in the Merchant Portal, you can reset the passwords for them. To do so, follow these steps:
- Login to either the User Manager TEST / LIVE
- Go to the "Manage team" tab. In the table listing all existing users, click on the "..." button in column "Status"
- Click on "Request new password". Our platform will send an e-mail to the user with further information and instructions. The user’s existing two-factor authentication setting remains unchanged
